CNC programming

CNC programming is an essential part of the design and manufacturing process. How clean the code is depends on the time it takes to test, debug and put the part into production.
There are several ways of writing programs for CNC machines:
– Manual – the programmer creates code on a remote PC and then transfers the finished program to the machine tool.
– With the CNC console – using the keyboard the operator inputs a set of pre-set commands that are executed by the machine tool;
– Automated method with integrated CAD/CAE/CAM systems.
The most complicated and at the same time the most flexible system is CAM programming. Here you first have to get a sketch and model from CAD, select the machine tool in a dialog box, set fixtures, limits of motion, tools, modes, machining methods and corrections.
And the GFE Solutions team can easily help you with this. Our CNC programming department has many years of experience in writing machine tool programs for leading European companies.
Usually, we use popular software in the niche (Autodesk Inventor HSM, Autodesk Fusion 360, Siemens NX and many other programs). But the skill level of our specialists also allows to master quickly any licensed program that the customer uses and use it in the implementation of the project.
