Design documentation optimization and output of pharmaceutical textile production line for DIENES Apparatebau GmbH
Project background
DIENES Apparatebau GmbH is the company founded in 1930 for electric heaters production. For 90 years the company turned into the full-fledged design and construction company with narrow specialization for equipment and mechanical engineering. At present, DIENES Apparatebau GmbH develops individual solutions for business in the sphere of fiber treatment:
- components, management bodies, and experimental / laboratory systems for synthetic fibers;
- reconstruction and modernization of the existing systems;
- designing and commissioning of the systems etc.
Customer Request
DIENES Apparatebau GmbH developed the innovative method of anti-burn bandages production by coagulation, but not extrusion, as a result of which all medical steel elements are at risk being oxidized.
At the beginning the client’s company engineers designed and commissioned the plants upon own customer’s requirements (pharmaceutical company Laboratoires Brothier, which had already tested the technique on the experimental plant), but during the development process, they faced a shortage of qualified manpower.
That`s why they turned to GFE Solutions’ specialists for industrial realization of the equipment line for manufacturing medical threads under innovative technologies and for development the coagulation bath.
Design works
GFE Solutions’ team has established a tight communication with DIENES Apparatebau GmbH’s specialists and started working on the design solutions during the first client’s site visit.
To satisfy all customer requirements GFE Solutions engineers learned as soon as possible the software product Solid Edge and the specific nature of PDM-system documentation processing. To successfully implement the project, the company’s experts had to work during days off and at night, and as a result provided the coagulation bath project including full pipeline system.
Work results
GFE Solutions’ engineers adhered to the established deadlines and designed the coagulation bath module with all adjacent networks. Due to provided excellent results the GFE Solutions’ team received a new order.
