The engineering profession is often mistakenly thought of as non-creative. But in fact it is not. We are often faced with challenges for which we use quite creative techniques. In particular, brainstorming – the collective search for new concepts and solutions. The key to success is for each team member to feel free to express even incredible ideas. Then the best ideas or solutions are chosen from all of them and put into practice.
