A manufacturer of industrial dust and air filtration systems required a long-term engineering partner capable of supporting multiple technical disciplines within a single, stable team. The engineering scope extended beyond mechanical design to include structural analysis of filter housings and support structures under variable load conditions — wind pressure, snow, icing, and in certain installation environments, seismic loading — as well as the design of associated piping systems for air, water, and nitrogen. The client’s requirement was not a rotating pool of subcontractors, but a consistent team with deep familiarity with their products, documentation standards, and internal processes.
GFE established a multidisciplinary engineering team that operates with alternating physical presence between the GFE office in Kyiv and the client’s facility in Germany. This hybrid working model allows the team to maintain close contact with the client’s technical department while sustaining continuous output between site visits. The CAD scope is executed in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault. Structural analysis of filter frames and supporting steel structures is performed in Dlubal RFEM 5, covering all required load cases. Piping systems are designed in Plant 3D. Over the course of seven years, the engagement has grown steadily in both scope and team size, reflecting the level of integration achieved between GFE’s engineers and the client’s internal processes.
