A manufacturer of profile bending machines for roofing applications needed to expand their engineering documentation capacity without increasing permanent headcount. Their internal team was fully committed to active development projects, leaving no bandwidth for the growing documentation backlog of new machine variants. The requirement was a remote team that could integrate directly into the existing Autodesk Vault environment and maintain the same drawing standards as the internal engineers — with no transition period or process adjustment on the client’s side.
GFE assembled a team with a senior lead engineer experienced in sheet metal machinery design and Autodesk-based workflows. The team was integrated into the client’s Vault structure within the first month, taking responsibility for 3D modelling in Autodesk Inventor, 2D manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD, and full assembly documentation packages. Two on-site visits during the initial phase were used to align drawing standards, review existing documentation conventions, and establish a working process that matched the client’s internal practices precisely. All subsequent work was delivered remotely on a continuous basis.
