Meet Olha Karelina, Marketing Manager at GFE Solutions — a mechanical engineer who ended up in marketing, which sounds like a plot twist until you realise it is actually the whole point.

Olha studied at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and that background shapes everything about how she does her job. When the product you are marketing is complex industrial equipment, understanding what you are talking about is not optional — it is the difference between communication that lands and content that nobody reads. She has never had to pretend to be interested in engineering, because she genuinely is.

Outside of work, Olha competes in car racing — which, given that she studied mechanical engineering, feels less like a coincidence and more like a personality trait expressed in multiple directions at once. She travels, sings, has cats, and listens to heavy rock, and somehow all of it fits together in a way that is difficult to explain but very easy to believe once you meet her.
