Interview with Christoph Gerigk

Let us share what Christoph Gerigk, Managing Director at Schlebach Maschinen GmbH had to say about the cooperation with GFE Solutions.

Q: What issue did you come to us with?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

In order to eliminate capacity bottlenecks in the design and development area, we were looking for a reliable and high-performance partner, which we found in GFE.

Q: Why did you decide to cooperate with us? What makes our offer superior to those of our competitors?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

First of all, your customer base was one big point to decide to go with you. To see so many German companies which relied to your services and also seems to be satisfied with your service was one thing.

The other thing is that one of your shareholders is Marc Kloepfel. I trust Marc and so I trust Yehor. This key point in our business because we’re sending mass data and we need to be 100% sure that our data kept confidential and that nobody is having any kind of access to it.

Q: What did you appreciate most about working with us?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

What I do appreciate is the flexibility of your company, of your staff and the pragmatic solution providing to different kind of problems. I think problem solving is more or less a kind of skill that people have attached to the backgrounds where and in what family they have been raised. And in Eastern Europe the problem solving competency is quite high because people always need to find solutions for their problems. And they’re very innovative, so to say, to solve the problem getting along. And that is what I see here.

Q: How quickly did our team respond to your questions or concerns?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

Very quick. I’m more than happy with the reply time. We have good relationship to the guys working for us.

Q: Did the cooperation with us meet your expectations?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

We are perfectly fine with the service you’re providing.

Q: What would you like to change or improve in our collaboration?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

What I would like to change and improve is you should have an office directly beside our company so that I can go to the other side of the street, have a coffee with Yehor, chat to the guys and getting more brainstorming done. From my point of view, this brainstorming tools are not developed enough on the digital side to really get people working together, looking at the same piece of steel and having different ideas. We can do that of course in mass data, but design review and mass data is not the same as having a coffee and a cigarette and being in the work on the shop floor and having a look at something and trying to come up with the solutions.

Q: What other services would you like us to provide for you?

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

It would be great to have a fact sheet what solutions or services do we have in the portfolio of GFE Solutions. In discussions with Yehor we have hundreds of ideas, but when you talk, you’re not writing it down. And after a while you forget about it because you have so many interactions during the day. And if i have a fact sheet, it always reminds me “Hey, GFE Solutions, I can do this, this, this and this”. That would be also helpful for me to keeping things in a live brain level.

Q: If you would like, please share your wishes, impressions, any of your ideas.

Christoph Gerigk’s answer:

Maybe more frequently visit would be great not only on a C level, but also on a working level. Because at the end of the day, C level has ideas and is giving directions, but the tasks are carried out by the workforce. And I think, these guys, if they would meet more would be also appreciated beside that.
